Right, wild-guessing-as-to-meaning time.

In the first paragraph, I think Lkuznac has over-stretched a certian
English construct. For example, you can say "the red or blue ball" to
mean "the red ball or the blue ball". By analogy, the word "warefare"
matches several adjectives all over the sentence. I will try to guess
what is meant:

<<<
We (Kigdatsi) are watching the response of the major
cultures/governments/religions/etc of your Earth to guerilla warefare
(in the war called "The War on Terror"). We are doing so to find out
how badly post-conflict relations are damaged by conventional verses
guerrilla warefare. [It probably intends "terrorism" to be included in
"guerrilla warefare".] Kigdatsi are better at guerilla fighting, but
you seem to respond better to conventional fighting.

Don't worry though, we don't think we'll invade in the next 60 years (at
least) because you simply won't have the technology to threaten us.
 >>>

Well, that's my best guess. I *think* the last paragraph means that
they aren't going to attack once we have the technology to threaten
them, but would wait until there was actual danger to themselves.
Remember that Kigdatsi (such as Lkuznac) originate from subuniverse 0-0,
and ours is their closest neighbour: subuniverse 7-4. The wer identical
until about 2500 years ago, so Earth there is geologically identical to
here, hence ours being called "Earth-7-4".

And the dreadful English is due to it's native language being very
different from any natural human language. (Anyone know any good
gender-neutral personal pronouns?)
