children. Children running AMOK tends to be very disruptive. The
sooner they can get rid of me, the sooner the kids leave, too.

Growing youngsters do need calcium, though. It's not just myself I
feed. I still provide food to the young ones until they learn to hunt
for themselves. Plus, new hatchlings are provided some food from the
parents' crop right after hatching...their beaks and jaw muscles take
some time to become strong enough to crush even fish bones.
