Well, I usually don't make Welcome posts, as I'm not part of the Welcome
Weyr (are they even still around?), but comments were made as to the
lack of posts, thus I'm endeavouring to keep the post rate up.....
That, and it's a long weekend, so starting tomorrow I'll prolly be back
to my old too-tired-to-post self again.....

Well, you could call them chickubs....?

Aren't news servers wonderful..... Luckily, all my ISPs have had the
intelligence to have Alfandra as a staple.....

We don't hide as rocks, we bask in the sun for so long that we gather
dust!! I think I've even still got a few patches of moss somewhere on
my back.....

Oh, some "mere otherkin" also have the same methods, it's not just
humans.....

Well, the plates were a bit tough, but I'm sure the cookies and choklits
were good..... I'll have to remember to eat /those/ next time.....

There is such thing as an edible, nay delicious, meat pie floater, its
mushy peas of just the right consistency, its tomato sauce piquant in
its cheekiness, its pie filling tending even towards named parts of the
animal. There are platonic burgers made of beef instead of cow lips and
hooves. There are fish 'n' chips where the fish is more than just a
white goo lurking at the bottom of a batter casing and you can't use the
chips to shave with. There are hot dog fillings which have more in
common with meat than mere pinkness, whose lucky customers don't apply
mustard /because that would spoil the taste/. It's just that people can
be trained to /prefer/ the other sort, and seek it out. It's as if
Machiavelli had written a cookery book. Even so, there is no excuse for
putting pineapple on pizza. -- Terry Pratchet, "The Last Continent",
