True, but I would say that this movie is made for people who already
know the books. Even with a more detailed prologue, the movie would
still be too sketchy regarding plot and characters for those
unfamiliar with DL to appreciate it fully. But if they only had
covered the first half of the book, it could have worked. The problem
is, even for those of us who know the story intimately, the movie
suffers from trying to tell it of the whole novel in 90 minutes.
