It sold well, but Dabel Bros. lost the rights to publish DL comics to 
Devil's Due, for whatever reason.

I could spend quite a bit of time speculating, but if you look around 
for information at the recent split between Dabel & Marvel (a 
partner****p less than a year old), you can probably draw your own 
conclusions.

Dabel's history as a comic publisher has been a troubled one.
