Right there on the back of RotT you can read:

"Rise of the Titans is the second in the Battle Lines series of adventures

that tie in with the War of Souls novel series."

War of Souls and Battle Lines were announced concurrently, and were always

said to be tie-ins. Though the Titans were ultimately cut from WoS (though

they have a cameo in the ARC of DoaVM), I still always considered the 
products all one series.

The plot of The Sylvan Veil and the plot of Dragons of a Fallen Sun were 
very clearly and closely related. I continue to be baffled by your 
arguments regarding the ****eld, Craig. How could the tale of the ****eld
end 
other than by its destruction?

You've got a double-standard. If Steve Miller wrote a novel about the 
****eld, and at the end of the book it got destroyed, you'd have been quite

satisfied. Instead, Weis and Hickman delivered a brilliant novel--in my 
opinion the best-executed of any DL novel ever--and you're the paragon of 
bitter dinos. Regards.
