Craig, you're completely misreading me, here.

I originally didn't like the Fifth Age because I didn't like Rabe's
trilogy.

Then I read the Fifth Age Boxed Set and thought it was actually kind of 
interesting.

Then I read The Odyssey of Gilthanas and I was totally sold.

I'm not cheering for the death of the Fifth Age. I'm simply stating the 
fact that it is dead, and if anything, I'm mourning it.

You can't argue that the Fifth Age isn't dead because the Titans are still

a factor, when the Titans are not from the Fifth Age, they're from the War

of Souls. I'm not saying that that makes them "okay," although clearly to 
the powers that be they are "okay," unlike any of the original Fifth Age 
concepts. Get it? Regards.
