Sorry I've been delayed in posting.
For the novels, there's acutally a lot more than one realizes.
Dalamar was originally a name of a Gencon person that Margaret thought
was a cool name.
Dezra (if she is not believed to be an alias of Tracy Hickman) was
written in as a friend of Tika in the short stories.
There's Nikol and Michael are named after two people, Nicole and Mike
Stanach(sp?)
Technically in Leave from the Inn of the Last Home, each contributor
is recognized as an in-person character who helped
So that means Janet Pack, John Grubber, Stan!, Steve Miller, and
others are in-world characters
As for draconian measure
There's Gra****, Yakonah, Pol'lard (After Ed Pollard), Morten (although
his name is mispelled), Rohan.
In the latest book Amber and Iron, Cam (after Cam Banks) was listed.
