Group Hug

So...

It's been a long time since this NG has had much action in it, but
there were some fond times here for me. Looking back on things, I wish
I could have been more diplomatic in voicing my opinions about certain
things, such as SAGA or 5th Age material. Several years down the road
now, and a lot of the arguments seem kinda silly.

For the record, I'm *glad* that others found pleasure in those DL
products even if I couldn't. They helped keep DL chugging along. I
also enjoyed reading all of you guy's opinions and remarks, even when
you were disagreeing with me. One thing that I (almost) always managed
to keep in mind is that we all have a fondness for DL, so we do share
a common interest.

I still like DL and keep up with what's going on with the setting.
I've tried several times to start up another campaign set in DL, but
RL has a way of messing up my best laid plans.

Some of the stuff coming out now really piques my interest, other
stuff not so much. I haven't read the Taladas series yet, but I have
purchased the first book in the trilogy and have it in my "queue". I'm
reading the "Lost Chronicles" now. The first book was... okay, but I
didn't really feel like W&H managed to capture the HotL voices, if ya
catch my drift. I remain optimistic about this second book though.
Even though I am not running a campaign at the moment, I am looking
forward to Races of Krynn too.

So, Frank, Granak, Cassie et. al... How do you find the DL setting
these days?
