If you guys are freaking out about a straight-to-DVD release, then
you're not really paying attention.
The market is starting to show that animated movies made for adults,
rather than your typical Disney fare, can not only be well-written and
enjoyable, but also financially successful: Ultimate Avengers, Ultimate
Avengers 2, Invincible Iron Man all from Marvel in the last couple of
years, and DC has put out the occasional animated feature for its
characters as well.
To put it bluntly, straight-to-DVD does not automatically mean it's
going to be total ****.
