OK I've done a bit more research. It appears that the mini-me versions
were a series of box sets with "pocket-size" versions of the original
modules - eBay has a couple for sale at the moment & list the size as
3" x 4" per module. That's tiny!! Not really sure why anyone would
*want* such a thing, but there you are. It does mean however that the
person who gave me the information about the Dragonlance Classics DLC
compilations may have had their wires crossed with these mini-versions.
Certainly no description I have seen refers to the DLC compilations as
smaller than full size versions.
I agree that the most faithful way to reproduce the original campaign
would be to get the original modules themselves, & I'd love to do that.
But there's obviously no source (that I've found) where you can pick
up the lot in 1 hit, so you're grabbing them bit-by-bit where you can.
And I have to ****p them to Australia, which can end up doubling (or
more) the cost if you buy them individually. So, I'm back to a
question about the DLC Dragonlance Classics compilations. Assuming
they are *not* scaled down versions, can anyone confirm whether they
are a beginning-to-end reproduction of the original DL1-DL14 modules,
or whether they are more of a "reconception" like the 15th Anniversary
Edition? Do you get all the inclusions like maps, counters etc that
you got with the original modules?
Thanks again
Oz
