I've never cared much for gnomes in DL or anywhere else for that matter.
It's just a personal preference I suppose. The only "short" DnD race I
have
ever enjoyed playing was a kender, and honestly, he was a Tas clone. Then
again, I can't really think of any kender I've ever read about or seen
played in a game that wasn't a Tas clone...

Yeah, if done right it could be interesting. It might be a challenge to do
fantasy technology and still keep the DL "feel" though. I think in a
fantasy
setting even the technology should have some magical elements to it.

I can't make up my mind about the KoT. On the one hand I am an old
schooler
who really believes that there shouldn't be any "anti-paladins" but then
again they can be fairly interesting when done right. So far I have stayed
away from them in my own campaigns. I also feel that they are overpowered
as
they are now.

Meh, in my own campaign the Chaos War never happened of course.

I like Taladas, I really do. Definately the best of the DL boxed sets, but
am I the only one who would rather they didn't have another fiery mountain
strike that continent? I think it would have been better to come up with
some other unique geographical oddity.

I've always wanted to do something with the Irda and their evil cousins
the
Nzunta, but I haven't come up with anything I like yet. I also think the
Irda need a little re-imagining to make a good player character race.
