Yeah, I got the impression that Kitiara's fate wasn't supposed to be all
happiness and light too. What would you have her "chilling fate" be?
The Dragonarmies are still around

I also think the dragonarmies should stick around in some form or another.
After all, there is the balance to consider. A medieval "cold war" could
make for some interesting stories if you ask me, as well as stories set in
the warmer areas.
The gods have come

I like this too, except I feel that the "hands on" approach of the gods
seen
in the WotL should not be used, rather the gods would work through their
agents, and their motivations should be depicted in a more vague manner.
>The Irda, hidden, have secret plans.
I've always been a sucker for the Irda too, although I like the way they
are
presented in the game material better than the way they are depicted in
the
novels. I also am fond of their "cousins" the Nzunta. I don't think I'd
make
them major players in the overall scheme of things though. However, given
their shapechanging abilities, they could certainly worm their way into
positions of power. Hmm...
The Orders are dealing with the return of the gods

Yes there would have to be game material to go along with the novels, and
there is a major need to pick a damn timeline and go with it.

yeah, I would definately have to bone up on my history of DL... I have
always set my campaigns after the WotL, be it 5 years or twenty. A lot of
the stuff that came before I am unfamiliar with, although listening to the
rest of you talk, I might find making heads or tails of DL history a
maddening experience. Do you have a "someone" in mind for this little
task?
The founding of the

All stories I would like to read about.

As long as we don't find out that the gully dwarves are the secret masters
of the world, I'm digging the ideas.
There is intrigue on Mithas

I've always liked the minotaurs and would like to see more stories about
them, same goes for the Kagonesti. One thing that bugs me is that in the
game resources, the Kagonesti are described as dark haired and dark
skinned,
yet whenever W&H write about one, it's always some light haired woman with
skin that is dark only because it is tanned. I like the dark skinned, dark
haired version better.
The sea elves notice increased

I've never really gotten into the various water dwelling races, but a good
story or two could change my mind.

A better idea than Ariakan in my opinion.
And some cults of the less

Hell yeah! I could see one or more of the lesser evil gods coming to
resent
Takhisis' power and secretly working to increase their own power base,
simutaneously working to weaken Takhisis' own power. And of course, to
maintain the balance something similar would have to occur with the gods
of
good...
And what role is there for the Irda to play,
> particularly when some ogres on the Goodlund peninsula are united under

Y'know, I am one of the few who didn't get Mr. Hickman's game material
about
the Titans. What's their story anyway?
What about the mystery from the First Dragon War the elves of
> Silvanesti uncover as they fight the nightmare?
Well, what OF the mystery? Damn tease...
For the most part, the

Y'see here, I would'nt go out of my way to *not* include any or all of the
HotL. For better or worse, they are or should be major players in the post
WotL world. Doesn't mean I'd want to focus solely on them or anything, but
I
think because they have been so poorly used in the past that there is a
reluctance to use them at all now, and that is a shame.
The readers' recognition of Dragonlancyness should be based on

Agreed.
The narrative will also stay away from one

It's like we're psychically connected or something...

I also really enjoyed the "Time of the Dragons" boxed set, but there was
one
thing that really bugged me about that setting... And that was the second
"fiery mountain" striking that continent. In my opinion one was enough,
and
some other way could have been found to give Taladas it's own geographic
uniqueness. Besides, no Kingpriest on Taladas, so it really doesn't make
any
sense.

That's okay, I forgive ya. ; )
