Test post to see if each paragraph is on one line

by "Taw Jackson" <booby@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Nov 19, 2007 at 12:29 AM

This is a test post to see if my lines go on and on with no soft returns,
so you have to scroll horizontally from here to East Tanzania to get to
the end of the line. I've seen this happen before with other people. When
you're typing it up, oh sure it looks fine, the soft returns are all there
and it looks all nice and pretty. But when you post the message and then
read it off the newsgroup the whole goldang message is on about 2 or 3
lines, and it disappears off the side of the window and you as I said have
to scroll horizontally for 400 miles to get to the end of the line. The
only time a new line starts is if you hit the return key to start another
paragraph. I guess that's a better way to describe it: Each paragraph is
on one line. Here's a new paragraph:
If this happens it is not only irritating to whomever is trying to read
your message, it also makes you look like a complete idiot. I'm using
Grabit, which is free, so I can't complain (even though you can't post
binaries with it), so before I post for real I'm dang well going to make
sure I don't look like an idiot. I may have to do hard returns after each
line.
In fact why don't I kill two birds with one stone (so to speak) and,
starting here, put in hard
returns after each line to see how that looks compared to what I've
written above here earlier.
It's getting hard to think up stuff to babble about to fill up these lines
but if I concentrate I can
babble enough to fill several lines. Shall I start on a rant about
overpopulation and big brother?
How about my life story? Now is the time for all good men to come to the
aid of their party and
mares eat oats and... aw, forget it...

                                                              -Taw Jackson

P.S. Where's Lomax?
